A unique venue for your special occasion traveling upstream through locks and bridges into the beautiful Kent countryside with its hop gardens, orchards and quaint villages. You can totally relax knowing that we will do everything to make your cruise with us as memorable and fun as possible. We have a variety of buffets available from a light Ploughman's to a sumptuous Captain's Fork Buffet. For something special we can organise a champagne reception drink to welcome your guests aboard and decorate the boat to your specific occasion. To get the party in full swing our resident DJ can wind it up to get those feet dancing or if background music is more your thing then it's sorted! For your comfort we recommend between 30 and 60 passengers, however we can accommodate a maximum of 75 guests and the vessel can be laid out in a variety of ways. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate 18th/21st birthday parties. Costing Your Charter We understand that costs can escalate when organising a special event, therefore we have designed a special calculator to cost your charter giving you a grand total and cost per head. Where we go Depending on length of hire, most charters leave Maidstone and travel upstream through Farleigh Lock, under Farleigh, Barming and Teston bridges turning at Teston Lock. The cruise then continues downriver to Allington Lock before returning to Maidstone. Map of our journey. Buffet Choices We have a wide selection of buffet choices to suit your needs. Entertainment Our resident DJ caters for all occasions with music from the 1950's right through to present day, however if a DJ is not your thing then check out our other entertainment ideas. We also have a 12 CD changer on board with a variety of styles to choose from if you are happy with background music. Decorations Individually taylored decorations can be arranged with balloons, banners, ribbon, celebration napkins and table confetti. Welcome Drink To welcome your guests aboard we can arrange a glass of bubbly, bucks fizz or orange juice on arrival. Licensed Bar Our well stocked licensed bar serves a wide variety of drinks, including wine, spirits, alcopops, draught and bottled beer, soft drinks, hot beverages and snacks.
