If you want that little bit extra, why not go the other way? The Kentish Lady will leave Maidstone Town Centre and take the three hour cruise upriver through Farleigh Lock and onwards under Farleigh, Barming and Teston bridges, turning at Teston Lock for the return journey. A commentary is also provided and you can click here for a map of our journey. Once we are through the lock the countryside opens up to reveal wildlife of all varieties including Kingfishers, Herons, Swans, Cormorants, Geese and Ducks, so remember to keep a watchful eye out! Please note, the minimum age for these cruises is 16 years and it is not advisable to bring pets. Tickets are non refundable. Licensed BarOf course, our licensed bar will be open if your fancy something a little stronger, that is until the bar staff have to do the locks! Our well stocked bar serves a wide variety of drinks, including wine, spirits, alcopops, draught and bottled beer, soft drinks, hot beverages and snacks. Our bar tariffs are similar to pub prices. Disabled AccessSet on a single deck the Kentish Lady provides excellent access for the disabled, with normal river conditions there is level entry for most wheelchairs (maximum 30 inches wide). However, toilets are walk in only. We are able to accommodate 2 pre-booked wheelchairs per cruise (no seat required aboard), however if you only need help getting to the vessel we are happy to store further wheelchairs in our secure quayside storage facility. Please consider carefully when booking your wheelchair space as this could prevent someone who is wheelchair bound joining the cruise.
